Voting Rights - IMF and the World Bank: Global North and the Rest

We have used country voting tables from the IMF and the World Bank. This data was then aggregated by region and income group for both institutions to derive the per capita voting rights. For the World Bank, a simple average of the per capita voting rights of its four branches (IBRD, IDA, IFC & WIGA) was taken. Both the country level voting rights and final per capita percentages are given here.

Global North = EU, US, Andorra, Australia, Belarus, Canada, Channel Islands, Faroe Islands, Gibraltar, Greenland, Iceland, Isle of Man, Japan, Liechtenstein, Monaco, New Zealand, Norway, Russia, Switzerland
